With the help of photoshop, Britney Spears doesn’t look anything like a white trash

The former teen idol whose hit songs include Oops, I Did It Again, Spears has frequently complained that she is hounded by paparazzi and earlier this month appealed to them to leave her alone. She also recently came under criticism for driving with her baby on her lap while fleeing a photographer.

In an interview with NBC Todayshow host Matt Lauer, she tearfully admitted to being an emotional wreck,and defended husband Kevin Federline from sniping in tabloids.

Since the tragic interview on Dateline, Britney seems determined to fix her tainted image. I like the fact that she is making an effort for a comeback, but honestly she ought to stop using her pregnancy and kid so much.

The singer, 24, denies reports that her relationship with husband Kevin Federline, 28, is on the rocks. “He helps me. He has to,” she says in the interview, which took place at her Los Angeles home. “I’m (an) emotional wreck right now.”

She adds that her marriage is “awesome” and says tabloid reports that Federline has been sleeping in the basement are untrue. Asked whether people are hoping her marriage will fail, she says, “If they are, that’s sad. I think everybody should be ‘pro love.’ “

Well said, Britney. Everyone should be “pro love” but it doesn’t mean I can’t be anti-Federline.

As for her emotional state, Spears blames the paparazzi, who, she says, have taken photographs of her on her private property. “They’ve crossed the line a little bit,” she says. “They like to have the person they pick on. I feel like I’m a target.”

She also defends her parenting skills, which came under scrutiny when she was photographed driving with 9-month-old son Sean Preston unsecured on her lap. “I did it with my dad,” says Spears, who grew up in Louisiana. “I’d sit on his lap and I drive. We’re country.”

Oh thanks for the information, Britney. Now am I surprised that Papa Spears’ a bad parent?

Asked whether she was upset by the ensuing headlines, she says, “I know I’m a good mom.”

Last month Spears announced that she is expecting her second child with Federline.

The last time I checked, a good mom doesn’t drive with her kid on her lap or allow her kid to get a fractured skull or (almost) drop her kid in public. Britney Spears’ perspective sure is different from the average folks.

So we all know Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban got hitched over the weekend. How nice. How sweet. How normal….I’m so happy for Nicole Kidman. She’s got a proper wedding at a proper church with a normal and successful man. Tom….Tom what, say again?

The even better news is that, apparently Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise the couch jumper’s marriage was not even legal. Well, to the eyes of the Catholic Church at least. Rumours were swirling around that Nicole Kidman was seeking annulment of her marriage to Tom Cruise, otherwise she wouldn’t be granted a proper Catholic wedding (since Catholic Church frowns upon divorce). However, since their marriage was not even a valid union in the 1st place as they exchanged vows in a Scientology church, Nicole Kidman and new hubby Keith Urban are allowed an honourable wedding ceremony at the Catholic Church.

The BBC reported Monday that, while there has been speculation that Kidman got her first marriage annulled so that she and Keith Urban could say their “I do’s” in a Catholic chapel, it turns out that, because she and Cruise swapped vows upon the altar that L. Ron Hubbard built, she wasn’t legally married in the first place–as far as the Catholic Church is concerned, that is.

Father Paul Coleman, the priest who presided over Kidman and Urban’s star-studded nuptials in Sydney over the weekend, told BBC News that in the case of the Oscar-winning Aussie’s first marriage, the requirements for a valid union were not fulfilled.

There is the word “fated” written all over this. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were never meant to be, and the truth has spoken.

How long can they keep up the pretence this time? More ‘fakin it’?

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are keeping up their newly reunited front.

Over Father’s Day weekend, the couple were in Miami, where they spent Saturday aboard a rented yacht and took in the NBA finals’ Game 5 between the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

Aww so sweet.

The couple’s togetherness comes on the heels of Spears’s Dateline interview with Matt Lauer, during which she shot down rumors of marital trouble and called Federline an “amazing” husband.

“He cares so much, and his heart is awesome,” she said. “He has a really big heart, and I love that.”

So after all the speculation, it’s finally over.

Can any celebs keep it together, that’s the golden question.

After months of speculation on their rocky marriage, estranged celebrity couple Yusry and Erra Fazira have split.

The two appeared at the lower Syariah court here yesterday to affirm their divorce.

Members of the media waited from morning to catch the couple, who finally arrived at 3.20pm in a black Mercedes-Benz SUV.

It seems to be the standard reason “irreconcilable differences” can stand for anything nowdays, it’s the politically correct way of stating he cheated or I can’t stand her..

It is learned that “irreconcilable differences” was stated as the reason for the divorce in the application filed on Tuesday by Yusry, whose real name is Yusri Abdul Halim.

Yusry, a member of the popular group KRU and an actor, told the court that he had uttered the declaration to Erra on April 26 at between 4.30pm and 5pm at their home in Damansara Utama here.

Who will be the next one to split? And we at Celebvids…are wondering how long the Siti and Datuk K Marriage will last.

So rumours have it.

Sources told The Malay Mail that preparations are under way for the nuptials of pop diva Siti Nurhaliza, 27, and businessman Datuk Khalid Mohamad Jiwa, 47.

The favourite date is believed to be 08/08/06 after 06/06/06 came and went sans wedding.

It is learnt that a reception will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

But it is the Malay Mail after all, tabloid trash. Can we believe anything they say?

Siti could not be reached yesterday and Khalid dismissed the latest news.

“I can’t comment on speculation,” Khalid said. “You have to get it from the horse’s mouth. So, please don’t write, please hold on to the story as it’s too early.”

Shah Rezza laughed off the rumours, saying that people might have misunderstood his business dealings with Khalid.

So is it on or not? That’s the big question. Or is the Malay Mail just speculating as usual.

While the romance between Siti and Khalid, named Kedah’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2006, has been the talk of the town for more than a year now, details have been kept under wraps.

“I will make the announcement when the time comes,” Siti was quoted as saying after finally admitting being acquainted with Khalid.

I heard on the radio this morning that Tom Cruise send a USED toy to Brad Pitt for his baby..and scolded him a copycat..

So I quickly looked it up on Google news, turns out it’s true.

I think the wacky scientologist Tom Cruise has finally really LOST THE PLOT.

Actor Tom Cruise sent a congratulations card to fellow new dad Brad Pitt — branding him a copycat.

Cruise, who appeared alongside Pitt in “Interview with the Vampire,” has playfully accused the father of Shiloh Nouvel of starting a family so he can keep up with Cruise’s new life with Katie Holmes and daughter Suri.

He writes, “Congratulations! You’re doing a fine job following in my footsteps!”

Cruise also sent the 2-week-old a stuffed toy.

Suri was born in April.

I hope he’s joking..
