There’s a new Fed-Ex in town and it has nothing to do with courier service.

Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline, PEOPLE has confirmed.

L.A. Superior Court spokesperson Pat Kelly tells PEOPLE, “Yes, it’s confirmed. It was filed today, on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.” TMZ.com was the first to report the filing.

Spears and Federline wed in September 2004 and have two sons, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, who was born Sept. 12.

Hooray to the divorce. Britney Spears has been skanking for far too long. Hopefully the dissolution of this marriage marks a new beginning for Britney the Pop Princess. She deserves much better than an underachieving sperminator like Kevin Federline (now known as Fed-Ex).

Spears gives a separation date of Monday. She asks that each party pay their own legal fees and waives her right to spousal support. She also requests that certain assets, including “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects,” be confirmed as separate property.

She and Federline, 28, both spent the weekend in New York City, but Spears did not appear at any of the events promoting Federline’s new CD, Playing with Fire.

Hrmm……the length that Britney is going shows that she’s really pissed with the soon-to-be-ex hubby. I wonder what triggered her action. Kevin Federline himself is a valid reason for a split; his flaws were obviously severe even by mere mortal standard, of why Britney was so visibly smitten with the useless bastard I suppose we may never find out. However, the question now is, who bleedin’ care?

Still, on Friday night at his record release party at the Manhattan hot spot Stereo, Federline shot down rumors of strife in his marriage, telling PEOPLE, “I don’t waste any energy thinking about these things. I don’t get caught up in it.”

But the previous week, he admitted that, because of his touring schedule, “I’m not going to see my family as much as I want to, but I mean, those are the sacrifices you make as an artist.”

I think he has probably realised now that he should have done a whole lot more of catching up with his marriage.

Two years ago, actress Kirstie Alley tipped the scales at more than 200 pounds. Kirstie, who was once a skinny Hollywood starlet, became a target for the paparazzi. Her private battle with weight was suddenly front-page news. “Honestly, I didn’t know how fat I was,” she said. “Thanks to the tabloids I went, ‘Damn, girl, you’re fat!’”

In November 2004, Kirstie opened up about her struggle with weight on The Oprah Show. The next day, she says she quit smoking and decided to change her life.

Kirstie says she searched far and wide for a pair of pantyhose to wear under her bikini. She finally found a pair without a center seam but didn’t realize they were “low rise.” Backstage before the show, she says she was worried that her hose would slide down. Thankfully, there are no wardrobe malfunctions to report!

This is her old identity card.

As you can see, it’s pretty obvious that her nose bridge was flat (if it were high, there would be a shadow created by the photostated effect). Siti Nurhaliza also had monobrow. The lower part of her nose was noticeably fat and she had flared nostrils.

In the beginning of her career, she still retained her fat lower nose and flat nosebridge. However, the monobrow has obviously been taken care of.

Later on in her career, the lower part of her nose was noticeably slimmer. There was even a hint of slight bridge.

Today, the lower part of her nose is sharper than samurai sword. She has very prominent nose bridge too. You can see that the position of her nostrils are slightly different from before too.

So, has she or hasn’t she?
