Mike Tyson The Former Boxing Champ

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cocaine in Arizona, police said on Friday.

Sgt. Larry Hall of the Buckeye Police Department said Tyson was arrested early Friday morning in Scottsdale, 10 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona, after he nearly struck another vehicle as he left the driveway of a private home.

“The vehicle he almost struck was actually a sheriff’s vehicle,” Hall said. “He’s been charged with DUI drugs and possession of a controlled substance, cocaine. It was found on him and in his car.”

Troubled Mike Tyson is in more trouble. Lady luck must be frowning upon him, not just get busted for almost striking any car but a sheriff’s car. When is Mike Tyson going to get his shit together??

Tyson was being held in a Phoenix jail and is due to appear in court on Friday, police said.

“He will probably see the judge later this morning and either be released or post bond,” Hall said.

The 40-year-old boxer known as “Iron Mike” became Heavyweight Champion of the World when he was 21, but was later banned from fighting for a year and fined $2.85 million after he bit off part of an opponent’s ear during a match in 1997.

“(Tyson) was actually very cooperative, very calm, and just acted like a complete gentleman,” Hall said.

The police officer who arrested Tyson was from Buckeye, 35 miles west of Phoenix, and had been working in Scottsdale on a DUI task force, Hall said.

Tyson, who has a long history of legal troubles, was convicted in 1992 for the rape of a beauty pageant queen in an Indianapolis hotel room.

He was sentenced to six years in prison and released in 1995 after serving three years.

Tyson retired from boxing last year after losing to journeyman Kevin McBride in Washington, D.C. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Tyson left the ring with a 50-6 record with 44 knockouts.

Mike Tyson is obviously a regular criminal. Someone please put him behind bars please.

Former Us Weekly gossip columnist Timothy McDarrah, arrested in New York last year by undercover federal agents, has been found guilty of charges related to soliciting sex with a minor.

McDarrah, a former reporter at the Las Vegas Sun, was arrested after being charged with trying to seduce an undercover federal agent posing on the Internet as a 13-year-old girl.

Bravo to federal agents for busting the paedophiliac ass of Timothy McDarrah’s. Fooker ought to be castrated, as a matter of fact..all paedophiles ought to be castrated and gassed.

He was charged with one count of using a computer and the Internet “to attempt to entice, induce, coerce and persuade a minor to engage in sexual activity,” according to an indictment handed up in November 2005. He was convicted Dec. 20 after an eight-day jury trial in New York, and faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, according to court documents.

It’s comforting to know the power that be recognises that with the advent of Internet, cases of sex crimes against children would skyrocket and they’re doing something about it. Mandatory minimum of 5 years is too damn little though.

McDarrah, 44, responded in June 2005 to a posting on the craigslist.com Web site offering introductions to the “freshest, youngest” girls in New York, an FBI affidavit said. The gossip writer told an undercover FBI agent, who had posted the advertisement to lure pedophiles, that he would pay $200 for sex with a 13-year-old girl, the affidavit said.

After his arrest, McDarrah was suspended without pay from his post as the editor of Us Weekly’s “Hot Stuff” column. From 2002 to 2004, he worked as a gossip columnist at the Las Vegas Sun.

I hope Timothy McDarrah will get what he deserves. I doubt so, but I hope that Timothy McDarrah has not victimised any young child yet.

As Britney keeps losing her identity and credibility within fans and industry people, so is WoB. We’re moving on to greater, bigger things. I would therefore like to announce the permanent shut down of World of Britney.com beginning January 31st, 2007. As WoB closes, Carolina and I will be launching a brand new state of the art Celebrity Blog that will try to compete with Perez Hilton, Pink is the New Blog, Popsugar and all of those.

The new site will be 100% Web 2.0 compliant featuring widgets, live search, communities, the ability to send in cool videos through your cell phone and so on. It’s something I’ve been silently working on for the past 3 months, and with 7 years of experience as a successful webmaster, I think 2007 will be a huge year for this new site (which I won’t mention the name of yet but, you’ll be like ‘Ohhhhhh’…)

No worries though, Britney will still be covered and our relationship with her people, Larry etc….will remain intact. I’m also going to use the new blog to educate people about the entertainment industry, get people into making short films, have competitions, etc….

The point is to combine what everyone else is doing at the moment with all their celebrity blogs into one place.

I think that WoB has had its run…….its feet are not holding firm anymore, not because of my ability to run it, but because I believe Britney is unfortunately done (for me at least). No matter what anyone thinks or how they may disagree, it’s very hard to maintain the respect needed to keep things going, so in turn, I’m trying to be a step ahead of it, and yes, for those of you laughing and remembering what happened in March of 2002, this time, it will be for good WoB will continue to provide its daily updates to fans up until it’s time to say goodbye. We look forward to continuing to report news on Britney, it just won’t be exclusive about her anymore. Has this got to do with all the recent fiascoes involving Britney Spears?? While the webmaster of World Of Britney has maintained that it has nothing to do with Britney’s liberal vagina, I can’t help but feel that her genital has a role in the demise of the website.

Perhaps the shutdown of this website is also a sign of what is to come of Britney Spears’ pop career. Done. Finished. No more.

Kathy Chow Hoi Mei has been focusing on the mainland Chinese market in recent years. While purchasing flowers in Beijing the day before, Kathy had a disagreement inside a flower shop.

Kathy was pushed roughly and hit on the back of her head. Luckily she did not sustain any serious injuries.

One version of the incident is that the flower shop owner wanted to charge an extra $25 for wrapping a bouquet that only cost $300 yuan. Allegedly Kathy felt that the fees were too expensive and was about to go to another floral shop.

Reportedly, the flower store owner grew angry, citing that the bouquet was already wrapped. At that point, Kathy was surrounded by 4-5 people and allegedly she was slapped in the face several times.

Hahahahaha. Kathy Chow deserves to be harassed for being such a scrooge! $25 freakin’ yuan, oh my God just give it to the crazed florist!

Due to varying versions of the incident circulating, Kathy decided to clear things up on her own blog site. Her entry was entitled, “Flower Shop Horrors.” On that day, Kathy had gone into a flower shop to buy a bouquet for a friend. When the owner showed her the bouquet, she was dissatisfied with it, since the stems were not cut properly. She was about to head to another floral shop, since she was on a tight work schedule.

Oh, so according to Kathy “Scrooge” Chow, it’s not about the money. But we all know now that it’s all about manners. Stems were not cut properly and she decided to do a runner? How classy…

Kathy did not expect to be surrounded by 4-5 people blocking her exit. Kathy felt very afraid, as the owner said that she was not allowed to leave unless she purchased the flowers. One man also held onto her purse and wouldn’t let go.

Luckily Kathy’s chauffeur was waiting for her outside and came to her rescue. Kathy was stunned and thought there must have been a misunderstanding. When she noticed the store employees stepping aside, she quickly exited the store.

However, when Kathy approached her car, one of the store employees rushed out of the shop and blocked her path, pushing her against the car. Kathy could not withstand the situation anymore and wanted to shrug the man aside. However in the struggle that resulted, Kathy was hit on the back of her head by someone.

I think she got hit because she “shrug” the man aside. Sometimes it’s quite subjective whether “shrug” is really a shrug, you know what I mean?

Kathy called the police and a simple police report was filed. The incident was classified as a misunderstanding and both parties came to an agreement. Kathy felt that this incident may have resulted due to cultural barriers.

In the future, she will communicate more clearly when purchasing items to make sure this type of incident will not be repeated.

When news of the flower store incident spread, many of Kathy’s friends called, expressing their concern. She does not hope to create unnecessary tabloid sensation with these type of incidents.

Whatever, Kathy Chow. You get treated by how you treat others. I’ve seen her speak really good mandarin on television so I have no idea how she can manage to deduce it to a case of misunderstanding and cultural barriers.

I think Kathy Chow needs to get a grip and cultivate some manners.

The 22-year-old actress - who is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood - insists even she has days when she feels overweight, just like every other girl her age. She said: “I have fat days and accept that I’m never going to be real thin.”

This isn’t the first time Scarlett has confessed to having issues about her looks.

Nice to see that an insanely beautiful person like Scarlett Johansson has her low-confidence days too. I totally understand how she feels. It’s tough to live up to a perfect image.
