Dean McDermott Proposes to Tori Spelling For Second Time
December 28th 2006
Something about Christmas puts Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling in the mood for matrimony. McDermott first proposed on Christmas Eve in 2005 (he and Spelling wed in Fiji in May) and this Dec. 25, he popped the question again.
The couple, who are expecting a son in the spring, spent the holiday in McDermott’s native Canada, and McDermott, 40, took Spelling, 33, to a romantic spot overlooking Lake Ontario “under the guise of getting away from all the Christmas craziness,” he says.

Can I say, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are really lousy at making news. They can’t even spin something more interesting than a second marriage proposal. Put in some effort, fookers!
“We sat on a bench overlooking the lake and I gave Tori her last Christmas present” – an antique platinum ring with an Edwardian oval-shaped sapphire from Neil Lane. “I’d wrapped the ring in a much bigger box, and as soon as she opened the ring box I asked her to marry me again. It was very romantic and magical.”
Spelling adds that as soon as McDermott proposed, “I immediately started crying and said ‘Yes! Again and again and again!’ What made it so special was the notion that a year ago when he proposed, the thought of having a baby together was just in our hearts, and now our baby boy that we created from our love is nestled in my belly.”
Oh my God, I wonder how long did it take Tori Spelling to remember her line? “…baby boy that we created from our love is nestled in my belly….”!!?? I’m not kidding you when I say Tori Spelling is doomed to a lifetime of painful soap dramas.
Disgusting!
