Picture from PEOPLE. Hayden Panettiere, Got Milk?
The actress, who celebrated her 18th birthday on Tuesday with a party on the beach, is the latest mustachioed face of those Got Milk? ads.
You don’t have to be a hero to feel invincible. That’s why I drink milk, she says in the ads, part of a campaign to get teens to drink three glasses of low-fat or fat-free milk a day.
The ads, debuting Sept. 10, were shot in May by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and show Panettiere in a sleek red dress holding an exploding glass of milk.
On Monday, the actress joked to David Letterman on his Late Show about her milestone birthday: I don’t think much changes when you’re 18 maybe the way people treat you. But I think the only things I can do is buy cigarettes, porn and, if I get in trouble with the law, I’m kind of screwed.
Hayden Panettiere looks super hot in this ad. Makes me want to run out to the nearest store and get myself a big fat bottle of creamy milk. I’d wonder how Hayden Panettiere would look like in another 10 years. Youth is kind to her pint sized body but do you think she’ll look half-decent as she is now?

Britney Spears has spent a lot of time in the pool of late and much of it in the buff. Her two romps with former assistant Shannon Funk and back up dancer Matt Encinias both wound up on the covers of the entertainment weeklies. But was Britney set up? That’s the charge by Encinias’ ex girlfriend. She tells the National Enquirer that Matt and Shannon are pals and set Britney up for a big cash pay out.
Ashlee Krol tells the Enquirer, He and Britney’s former assistant Shannon Funk worked together at the Chart House restaurant in Newport Beach, California and they’re best friends.†In an even more shocking clam she added, When Shannon was mad at Britney I think she and Matt set up a plan t make money off her.â€
Crap. I think Britney Spears herself set up those pictures. She’s probably gotten a good cut from them. Has anyone forgotten about how she would change clothes a few times a day just so the paparazzi could get more pictures out of her in a day? Britney Spears may be crazed, but she still knows how to work for the dough.

Mena Suvari shaved off her beautiful, blonde mane for a movie role (Garden of Eden) early August this year. She really can’t rock the military look. I hope she’ll grow back her hair soon. It’s quite traumatising seeing Mena Suvari looking like a little boy.

“It’s amazing what people think,” Angel said Friday. “We’re not together. Her manager is my manager, and I’m helping with one of her shows. I’m helping with her appearance on MTV.”
Rumors flew after the Las Vegas-based Angel, 39, was spotted with Spears, 25, in Los Angeles in recent days, meeting with her and her friends at a restaurant and going with her into a hotel.
Acknowledging the Wednesday night dinner he and Spears shared at Cravings in West Hollywood, Angel said, “Yes, I’m here working on some stuff, and we went to that restaurant with 10 people.”
Says Angel: “We were talking about how she wants to do something more with the [awards] show, and about me helping out and hoping to work with her on doing something to make her MTV appearance more innovative.”
Spears has been in talks to perform at the Sept. 9 show at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Neither MTV nor Spears’s reps have confirmed whether she’ll appear.
“It’s amazing how you can’t do anything now without people making up stuff,” adds Angel.
Wow, even a D-lister like Criss Angel is denying involvement with Britney Spears. Guess the poor girl is truly heading for the dumps. A few years back, a quasi-celeb like Criss Angel would’ve made up a whole story about bonking Britney Spears, but it’s an entirely different matter today. Britney Spears is so toxic, anyone to associate with her would automatically be deemed trashy and classless. Shame for Britney Spears, even that pathetic Criss Angel knows better.

Are congratulations again in order for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden?
After a late Friday night performance with his band Good Charlotte at the Hot 99.5 Lil’ Black Dress Party hosted by Perez Hilton at the Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, Va., Madden was walking offstage when Hot 99.5 morning show deejay Kane announced to the crowd, “He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel!”
To that, Madden quickly glanced back over his shoulder but was otherwise unresponsive as he made a hurried exit from the stage behind brother Benji.
“We heard this morning,” Kane told PEOPLE following Good Charlotte’s 40-minute set. Crediting he got the word from “good sources,” Kane said he hadn’t seen Richie since hearing the news, but added he had offered his congratulations to Madden earlier in the night. “He said, ‘Thank you so much,’” recalled Kane.
“They’re very excited about the baby and the wedding. They want to keep their personal life personal,” he added.
Non-denial constitutes to a “yes”. Well, congratulations to them. Hope the marriage will last though. I never really understood why Joel Madden would make such a major leap from sweet, wife material Hillary Duff to crack whore Nicole Richie. Guess it’s love?

Hundreds of people posed naked on Switzerland’s shrinking Aletsch glacier on Saturday for U.S. photographer Spencer Tunick as part of a Greenpeace campaign to raise awareness of global warming.
Tunick, perched on a ladder and using a megaphone, directed nearly 600 volunteers from all over Europe and photographed them on a rocky outcrop overlooking the glacier, which is the largest in the Alps.
Later he took pictures of them standing in groups on the mass of ice and lying down. Camera crews were staged at five different points on the glacier to take photographs.
Glaciers are sensitive to climate change and have been receding since the start of the industrial age but the pace of shrinkage has accelerated in recent years.
The environmental group Greenpeace, which organized the shoot, said the aim was to “establish a symbolic relationship between the vulnerability of the melting glacier and the human body.”
This is too cool for school. Those people there must be freezing their balls off, but hats off for such noble effort. It’s sad that it’ll take nudity to capture the attention of people when it comes to the environment, but if it works, it works.
