Amid his custody fight with Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen has made an eye-popping claim: His ex-wife wants to have another child with him.

“There was a request for a donation,” Sheen, who is now engaged to Brooke Mueller, tells TV’s Entertainment Tonight, as reported on the Web site for its sister show, The Insider.

“Without getting into it here,” the The Two and a Half Men Emmy nominee, 41, tells ET’s Mark Steines, “there is a specific document relating to this that I am going to reserve for a court.”

Asked if he would take this alleged offer from Richards seriously, Sheen replies: “I would sooner, in exactly what I’m wearing, walk on the surface of the moon. Does that answer it?”

Richards denied Sheen’s claim, telling The New York Post’s Page Six column Monday: “I don’t want another child right now. I have my hands full.”

In response to Richards’s denial Sheen replied, “She can make every claim in the world. But what she stated in something she wrote would completely and totally defy that.”

This is totally wacky of Denise Richards. I mean, I could understand that she probably doesn’t want more kids with a different father but hello, can’t she let it rest? They are divorced after all and Charlie Sheen is happily engaged to another person. Denise Richards could have acted more considerate.

The thing is, counting by Charlie Sheen’s record, I don’t think Richards need to use any black & white to impose the donation on him. She could easily seduce him into having sex with her, unless….she’s a drag in bed.

Remember the adage “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”? Melanie Brown seems to be putting it into practice.

Scary Spice was spotted Thursday meeting up with Nicole Murphy – Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife and the mother of five of his children – at Beverly Hills eatery the Ivy, where the pair laughed over bottled water and lunch.

Joining the two women were daughters Angel Iris, Brown’s 4-month-old, and 5-year-old Bella Zahra, Murphy’s youngest child with Nicole.

“They seemed really friendly toward one another,” says an onlooker of the pair, who wore curve-hugging dresses and posed for cameras outside. “They had a pretty private meal in the back corner, away from all of us.”

The lunch date came one day after Brown and her lawyer Gloria Allred held a press conference claiming that Brown’s former boyfriend Murphy “has not paid one penny of child support.” A DNA test in June established that the actor is the father, but “paternity has not been legally acknowledged,” according to Allred.

Lizzy McGuire is all grown up with some extra muscles. Look at the abs! I wonder how long did it take her to lose the baby chubs. I was pretty worried when she got all gaunt and skinny at one point. Angelina Jolie may be opening the door to a future relationship with her estranged father, Jon Voight.


“I am hoping my relationship with my father will be more private in the future,” Jolie told the U.K.’s Evening Standard newspaper in an interview this week. “At the end of the day we both wish the best for each other and we’ll try to start communicating in some way.”

Jolie and Voight have had little, if any, contact since 2002, when Voight made comments to Access Hollywood suggesting that she was unstable. The 32-year-old actress has made it clear in interviews that she had no time for Voight, whom she also claimed cheated on her late mother, French actress Marcheline Bertrand.

In the interview with the Standard, Jolie praises the parents of partner Brad Pitt for accepting her and her children she had adopted. “When I first met them I came in with two adopted children from other countries and I didn’t know how they were going to be. But they are equally loving with them.”

Angelina Jolie’s new family must have melted her ice cold relationship with her estranged father, Jon Voight. The question is, will Jon Voight be able to keep his mouth shut on his famous daughter?

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown welcomed a baby girl early Tuesday, PEOPLE has confirmed.

“The baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair,” a rep for Brown said in a statement.

“Mother and baby are now resting. No name has been decided on as yet and she is purely known as Baby Brown.”

Brown, 31, was taken to Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica at around 5.30 p.m. Monday and the baby was born just after midnight Tuesday, the rep said.

Thank goodness for a smooth delivery. Now it’s time for a paternity test. Did Eddie Murphy or didn’t he?

Unlike Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Daniellyn, whose paternity is fought over by numerous men…Melanie Brown a.k.a Mel B a.k.a Scary Spice’s new born daughter isn’t so lovable. Will the real father please stand up?

The new arrival – who weighed in at 5 lb., 4 oz. – joins 8-year-old sister Phoenix Chi, Brown’s daughter with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar.

The paternity of the new baby, however, is in question. Brown has said her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Murphy – who shares a birthday with the infant and turned 46 on Tuesday – is the father, but he has questioned that claim.

“I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test,” Murphy said on a Dutch TV show in December when asked about impending fatherhood. “You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.”

Brown later released a statement saying she was “upset and distressed” by Murphy’s comments.

In March, Murphy’s new girlfriend, film producer Tracey Edmonds, told Chicago’s Power 92 radio station of Murphy and Brown: “Without me getting too deep into it, they had a quick relationship before I even got into that, before I got into a relationship with Eddie. So that’s like their business that’s going on. There’ll be a paternity test and if it’s his then he’ll be responsible.”

Eddie Murphy’s the man. How the hell did he get Tracey Edmonds to say such things anyway. It remains a mystery as to why Eddie Murphy is so cold towards Mel B. Did he catch her in bed with another man? Did she get pregnant on purpose? Time will tell and so will the richest tabloid.

Unlucky in love

Actress Halle Berry tried to commit suicide over her failed first marriage, she reveals in an upcoming interview.

Berry, 40, admits to Parade magazine that she tried to gas herself when her fiery union to Atlanta Braves baseball star David Justice collapsed, but pulled out at the last minute.

“I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming when I had an image of my mother finding me,” she tells the magazine.

The image of her stoic mother Judith, now 67, was enough to snap the blues out of Berry. “She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low,” Berry says. “I promised myself I would never be a coward again.”

Aren’t we all glad that she didn’t pull the plug? Otherwise we’d never get to enjoy looking at her incredibly beautiful body!

God was in a great mood!

The actress also describes her subsequent marriage, to singer Eric Benet, as “really horrific … We were in sex rehab after one year. I wish I had left then, but I was putting everyone’s needs before mine,” says the Oscar winner, who next appears on-screen with Bruce Willis in the thriller Perfect Stranger.

Twice divorced Berry is now dating model Gabriel Aubry, after meeting the 31-year-old in Nov. 2005 during a Versace advertising shoot. Three months later they went public as a couple. Twice bitten, Berry rules out a third marriage.

“I will never, never get married again,” she told InStyle recently.

But she tells Parade she is determined to be a mother. “I’ve accomplished things I never thought I would,” she says. “Now my sights are set on a different chapter in my life, which is motherhood. That’s the goal I have very clearly set for myself.”

Never say never. Hope third one’s a charm.

Uma Thurman and hotelier Andre Balazs have ended their three-year, on-again off-again relationship, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE.

The breakup of Thurman, 36, and Balazs, 50 – who had begun dating in late 2003 – takes place amid rumors that the couple were planning to wed in the Caribbean this summer.

Thurman’s publicist, Robert Garlock, did not wish to comment on Sunday.

Just over a year ago at this time, after Thurman appeared at the 2006 Oscars without Balazs, Garlock issued a statement saying that the Kill Bill actress and Balazs – who owns such properties as New York’s Mercer Hotel and the Chateau Marmont and the Standard in Los Angeles – had ended their relationship.

Poor Uma. Girl’s really unlucky in love, isn’t she?

“Unfortunately, it is true,” said the March 8, 2006, statement. “But we remain close friends.”

By last fall, however, the two were again more than just friends, being seen together everywhere from Copenhagen to New York – which Thurman and her two children by former husband Ethan Hawke call home.

Thurman and Hawke were together for six years, until she filed for divorce in 2003.

Thurman is currently filming The Accidental Husband, in which she stars as a talk-radio host who gets into trouble after dishing out love advice.

Uma Thurman is a gorgeous woman and she deserves better when it comes to love. I don’t understand why her relationship with this fella Andre Balazs would be so unstable but I believe the problem lies with him. He’s not even cute, so good riddance!
