It was an American Idol first when Dallas contestant Antoria Gillon performed her audition – in labor.

While waiting with 13,500 other hopefuls at Texas Stadium on Monday, 9-months-pregnant Gillon realized she was going to have her baby.

Not one to let her contractions block her chance at fame, however, she sang right through them. And the tryout turned out to be a success: Gillon will be back for the next round on the hit FOX show, the network announced.

Gillon was taken to a local hospital, where she gave birth to a healthy son she named Jamil Labarron Idol McCowan.

Baby Idol arrived early Tuesday morning weighing 6 lbs. 7oz.

As for next season’s TV Idol, its seventh edition is set to be born in January 2008.

What was a 9-month old pregnant woman doing among 13,500 people? Wasn’t she suppose to be at home, resting and waiting for her water to break? It’s quite a sad story, for someone was so desperate for whatever that American Idol would bring her, she’s willing to risk the life of her unborn child. She’s lucky the her child was safely delivered.

Singer Clay Aiken apparently got into a dispute with a woman during a flight to Tulsa, drawing some scrutiny from FBI agents but no charges, a newspaper reported.


The 2003 “American Idol” runner-up was on the Saturday morning Continental Airlines flight for a evening show, and concertgoers said afterward that Aiken joked on-stage about being beaten up by a girl earlier in the day.

FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson told the Tulsa World there was a dispute between a male passenger and a woman on the flight. He said the man was a former “American Idol” contestant but did not give his name.

Johnson said the dispute was over the male passenger’s foot resting on the woman’s armrest. He said there was an allegation the woman gave the male passenger a “minor shove” during the argument.

“At that point the flight crew was able to resolve the situation,” Johnson said.

Remember the incident where Clay Aiken stank up the whole first class? I honestly thought it was bullshit but now I truly believe that it was true. Clay Aiken’s a weirdo and one with no common decency as well. What did he think, putting his feet on someone’s armrest? So digusting! Who does he think he is? Brad Pitt? On a recently flight from LA to Clay Aiken’s hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina, the American Idol runner up didn’t get drunk and rowdy, but he did act weird and smelly.


Aiken was said to have taken off his socks and shoes and to have put them on his assistant’s lap. His feet stunk up the whole first class cabin.

Clay, who was accompanied by a terrified-looking female assistant, draped his feet over her lap and removed his shoes and socks – allowing a foul smell to invade the small cabin! Even stranger, after fidgeting through most of the flight, he ended up sitting on the floor in front of his expensive seat! Exclaimed one passenger, “He’s an odd one!”

I’ve always thought American Idol hopeful Sanjaya Malakar looks rather familiar.

Obviously, I haven’t seen him anywhere prior to American Idol.

And suddenly it struck me!

Sanjaya is a splitting image of Farrah Fawcett here.

Check out those identical pearlies. Same orthodontist, perhaps?

Even from the side profile, there’s an uncanny resemblance between them.

This is quite disturbing.

Sanjaya Malakar

Many were shocked when Sanjaya advanced to the Top 12, while Sundance was sent packing last week. But apparently no one was more shocked than Simon Cowell, who said he’ll quit the show, if Sanjaya is crowned the next American Idol.

Simon warned, “He’s not going to win. I won’t be back if he does!”

I hope Simon Cowell will stay true to his words because if Sanjaya could be in the Top 12, everything is possible. So if Simon Cowell quits American Idol, what is he going to survive on? It’s not like he’s making not-another lame boy band nowadays.

Last night, Sanjaya gave another monotone performance, droning out “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” while sporting Justin Guarini’s bouncy hair. Simon snarked, “When you hear a wail in Beverly Hills, that is where Diana Ross is watching this show.”

Unfortunately, the meaner Simon is, the more devoted Sanjaya’s fans (or “Fanjayas” as I’ve heard them called) seem to become. According to dialidol.com, Sanjaya is most likely safe again this week.

As for Simon quitting Idol, I’m sure that won’t be necessary. Odds are that Sanjaya won’t go all the way to win this thing. If he does, millions of people will be outraged that popularity trumped talent in what is supposed to be a “singing competition.” Luckily for Idol, the surrounding controversy would only pump up the ratings higher — especially on the night that Simon hands in his resignation.

Who is good enough to replace Sanjaya? American Idol has been interesting because of Simon Cowell…Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson? C’mon….

To be frank, I don’t really care. I’m more interested in looking at uncensored pictures of Antonella Barba.

Antonella Barba talks about her nude pictures published on the Internet.

How hard was it to deal with all the controversy that was going on around you when you were on the show?
It was definitely difficult and it wasn’t how I intended things to go, but I tried to block it out as much as possible and stay focused on the competition. All that other stuff was completely irrelevant to the fact that I’m here to sing.

Contrary to belief, the pictures are relevant to Antonella Barba’s singing simply because she can’t sing. How else can she be famous for? Her singing? Dream on.

Visibility is important – does part of you feel that there’s no such thing as bad publicity?
Yes, it’s true that my name is more well-known because of it, but I’m not known for the things that I would like to be known for right now. I wanted to make a name for myself in singing. The pictures that have been released of me – the ones that actually are me – they were very personal and that is not how I intended to portray myself. I’d rather promote myself in a more classy way. And, again, that was private – that was not for the public eye.

Ah, so she doesn’t mind getting visibility such way? Hey you who have more of her incriminating pictures, publish more!!!

Were you approached to pose in Playboy?
I heard about it but I was never approached.

She would be better off posing in Playboy.

Would you do it?
No. Right now I want to look at all the offers I get and sort out what’s best for me right now. I’m definitely not opposed to acting or modeling or something. I would definitely do pop music, but I would add my style to it – you know, a little R&B-ish pop music, maybe bluesy, jazzy.

Just stop singing, Barba. There is no need to impose your horrendous singing on the public. Just stick to stripping and we’ll be happy campers.

I have friends who told me, Everyone gives and receives blowjobs!. What’ss the big deal?. Doesn’t mean that Antonella Barba gave blowjobs automatically makes her a bad person?

Well, I have to agree with my friends. But these photos really don’t show that she’s as innocent and merely sexually healthy as her supporters claim her to be.
