Ben Affleck made an appearance at Falls Church High School in Fairfax’s graduation day. His presence was inspired by his “best friend”, Joe Kindregan, whom the actor met in 1998 when the young man (who has the rare degenerative disease AT) visited the set of Forces of Nature. It’s very sweet to see a Hollywood actor being so humbled by a person like Kindregan.

For a couple as low-key as Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, it was fitting that their daughter’s baptism was a down-home affair.
Little Violet Affleck, who turned 1 on Dec. 1, was baptized on Christmas Eve at Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston, W. Va., where her mother grew up.
Garner’s parents, sister and brother-in-law are members of the church, where Violet’s cousin Alex was baptized the same day, the Associated Press reports.
Awwwwwww how sweet. I wonder whether little Violet Affleck wailed when her head got dunk into the basin.
If congregants were star-struck by the movie stars in their midst, they didn’t show it, Pastor Randy Flanagan told the AP.
Affleck, 34, a Golden Globe nominee for Hollywoodland, said earlier this month that he’s a hands-on dad: “Yes, I’ve changed diapers,” he said at a New York City screening of Hollywoodland. “Parenthood, the whole thing is wonderful. All the clichés that all the people bore you with are, in fact, true.”
Glad you like fatherhood, Ben Affleck. Please, just don’t let it be an excuse to get fat.

Ben Affleck spent his Memorial Day in the emergency room of a Boston-area hospital.
“Ben Affleck was treated for a migraine at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., today,” said Affleck’s rep, Ken Sunshine, in a statement on Monday. “He was released this afternoon, and is recuperating at home.”

Old news I know, but I can’t resist posting this. Ben Affleck was treated for migraine? Please, with all those fake hair and hair weave, who wouldn’t get a splitting headache? Take it off Ben and I’m sure your migraine will recover!
According to the Boston Herald, Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Garner, drove him to the hospital at around 2:30 p.m. Affleck was released about two hours later after receiving treatment in the E.R.
Affleck, 33, and Garner, 34, along with their 6-month-old daughter, Violet, are in Cambridge for the summer while Affleck directs his first feature film, Gone, Baby, Gone.

Now two sport celebrity couples are also celebrating female additions to their family.
Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, welcomed their second child on Monday in Orange County, Calif., the Associated Press reports.
A daughter, Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, was born at 2:03 a.m. Monday, weighing 6 lbs., 7 oz. She is 18 1/2 inches long.

I suppose this is a proof that Vanessa is not a tranny.
Shaquille O’Neal and his wife, Shaunie Nelson, welcomed a new daughter, Me’arah Sanaa O’Neal, on Monday.
The baby girl, who weighed 8 lbs., 1 oz., and was 21 1/2 inches long, was born at 4:57 a.m. in Miami.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, welcomed their first child, Violet Maye, on Saturday, April 15, in Los Angeles, Grohl’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Named for the singer’s grandmother, Violet weighs 6 lbs., 15 oz., and measures 21 inches.
So there are two new Violets in town. One Violet Affleck (daddy is Ben) and Violet Grohl. There’s also a fake Violet, the half-human in UltraViolet, played by Milla Jovovich.
Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins first revealed that the couple were expecting in an MTV interview early this year. “We’re going to be touring Europe in January and February, but we’ve got to be home by March, because Dave and his wife are having a baby,’’ Hawkins said, adding, “but I probably wasn’t supposed to tell you that.’’
After the Foo Fighters failed to win a Grammy in February, Grohl pointed to his pregnant wife and said, “I don’t need Grammys anymore, baby! I’m retiring. I’m going to write a children’s book. Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do when you have kids? Or form a kid’s band.”
No Dave, you’re supposed to fook up her life so much that she has to go for therapy for the rest of her life or end it with a bullet to her head.

Jennifer Lopez is suing ex-husband Ojani Noa, charging that he demanded $5 million to shelve a book containing revelations about their relationship.
Lopez’s lawsuit, filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges that Noa, her first husband, violated a confidentiality agreement by distributing the manuscript of his book to publishers, TV’s The Insider reports. Lopez, 36, is seeking a restraining order to keep the manuscript from becoming public.

She was to be blamed anyway, marrying a waiter just like that. Yeah right, love is blind. Love is blind, but money is money.
According to the New York Post story, Noa writes in his book, The Unknown Truth: A Portrait of a Serial Thriller, that Lopez cheated on him with an Anaconda castmate and had an affair with Marc Anthony while the singer was still married to Dayanara Torres.
Noa’s attorney, David DeRubertis, did not return calls from the Associated Press seeking comment.

Lopez met the Cuban-born Noa while he worked as a waiter at a Miami restaurant. The two married in 1997 and divorced 11 months later. Her next marriage, to choreographer Cris Judd, in 2001, lasted nine months. Lopez has been married to Marc Anthony since 2004.
