Jeong Da-bin

Korean actress Jeong Da-bin (정다빈) was found dead in her bathroom in Seoul on Saturday morning after an apparent suicide.

Her boyfriend was the first person to find her dead body. The two drank with friends on Friday night and went home in the early morning.

The 26-year-old actress enjoyed certain popularity among Chinese audiences for her movies including “The Guy Was Gorgeous” and the TV drama “My Sister-in-Law is 19.”

Yawns…I’ve actually gotten really bored writing about dead actresses. You know what I think, their parents should be awarded the Darwin Awards for bearing such stupid but efficient children. Way to go!

However, the police did not find any evidence to prove that she was killed by someone else.

It is speculated the reason for her suicide was that she could not stand the pressure of her declining showbiz career. The actress posted an article titled “The Ending” on her personal website.

Over 500,000 fans have left their messages on her site since her death was announced.

The actress body will be cremated today.

I guess if your acting sucks it’s only fair to kill yourself. Jeong Da-Bin wasn’t even the most beautiful of the lot.

This is so sad. Why does a perfectly pretty and talented less wants to off herself? There is no suicide note or will, could it be due to foul play?

It’s ironic because her pictures were circulated earlier on the Internet as murdered Mongolian beauty Altantuya Shaaribuu. Altantuya Shaaribuu was murdered in a gruesome manner in Malaysia. Her murder is believe to be masterminded by prolific Malaysian political analyst, Abdul Razak Baginda.

U-Nee came to the public’s attention under the name Lee Hye-ryeonwith her 1996 debut in the KBS TV drama Grown-ups Just Don’t Understand. She appeared in the movie Seventeenin 1998, then in the TV dramas Theme Gameand Tears of the Dragon.

Her debut album Gowas released in 2003 and she gained even greater popularity with the 2005 release of her second album Call Call Call. Her sexy dance moves and revealing fashions made her the favorite of teenagers across Asia.

I hope the real reason of her death can be found out as soon as possible. Her sudden death is certainly suspicious. Sure, it could have been due to depression but why didn’t she even leave a note?
Here’s a video of her performance. Those legs are a killer, too bad there are no more to be enjoyed.
